STRATEGIC TRENDS UPDATE: THE RISE OF ISLAM - (Print)
In recent months we have witnessed the reemergence of the Russian nationalist movement. Yet even as Russia's political climate cools towards outsiders, the Muslim population in the former Soviet Union is growing by leaps and bounds. Rising immigration and low birthrates among ethnic Russians have contributed to this trend. Russia's Muslim population has increased by 40 percent since 1989, to about 25 million. By 2015, Muslims will make up a majority of Russia's conscript army, and by 2020 they will constitute one-fifth of the population. Fifteen years ago, Russia had about 300 mosques, today there are approximately 8,000. Experts say that if current trends continue, nearly one third of Russia's population will be Muslim by the mid-century.According the CIA World Factbook, Russia's overall population is dropping at a rate of 700,000 people a year, largely because of the short life spans and low birthrates of ethnic Russians. The national fertility rate is only about 1.2 children per woman. Russia's Muslims, however, are bucking that trend. The fertility rate for Muslims ranges from 6 to 10 children per woman. At the same time, hundreds of thousands of Muslims immigrants have been flocking to Russia in search of work.Russia has experienced difficulty integrating its growing Muslim population. Growing ethnic tensions in Russia have begun to mirror those of its European neighbors. Much like Russia, Islam has become significant part of the cultural and political landscape of Europe. There are between 9 and 15 million Muslims living throughout Europe today, and Islam has become the largest religious minority. Considering current population trends, it is likely that the number of Muslims in Europe will continue to grow exponentially.The Muslim population in Europe has expanded so rapidly that Europe is experiencing growing pains. However the problem is not overcrowding, it is increased cultural tensions and the failure of devout Muslims to integrate into European society. The problem became the focus of world wide attention last November, when widespread rioting broke out in France. The violence stemmed from feelings of alienation and frustration among France's Muslim immigrant population. During the rioting more than 7,000 vehicles were torched, buildings were destroyed, several people were killed, and more than 2,000 people were arrested.Islam is becoming an increasingly volatile catalyst in today's international scene. Islam is the world’s fastest growing religion, and it is second in size only to Christianity. The truth about Islam is exactly the opposite of what you will hear on the news. Many Americans believe that Islam is a religion of peace and that Christians and Muslims worship the same God. In public schools we teach our children a doctrine of tolerance, and in some schools students are even required to memorize passages of the Koran. While in comparison Islamic children are taught that America is the Infidel. We are the enemy. When the towers came crashing down on September 11, 2001 and thousands of innocent people were killed, Muslims all over the world danced in the streets and praised the hijackers. Islamic terrorists are referred to in the West as radicals and extremists, while in the Middle East they are heralded by fundamentalists as martyrs and heroes, and the families of suicide bombers are rewarded monetary pensions. Senior Israeli intelligence officials admitted to the London Sunday Times that Hezbollah is now stronger than it was before the Israel- Hezbollah war this past summer. "Since the cease-fire, additional rockets, weapons and military equipment have reached Hezbollah," "We assume they now have about 20,000 rockets of all ranges – a bit more than they had before July 12." The Lebanese government recently acknowledged that weapons continue to make their way from Syria into Lebanon despite UN Resolution 1701.
Yair Shamir, son of former prime minister Yitzhak Shamir said that while he takes "no joy seeing young innocent children being killed," the [Arab] Palestinians need to understand that "if they know of terrorists who are prepared to fire rockets at Israel from their houses or in their yards or in close proximity to their houses, they should run for their lives and not remain there. Enough with the apologies." "When Palestinians shoot rockets at us it's normal and when we retaliate it's a tragedy."
Call Psychiatrists to the Knesset! Prime Minister Ehud Olmert wants to extend the partial ceasefire with Gaza terrorist groups to Judea and Samaria . Arab terrorists have fired 14 Kassam rockets at Israel since the start of the 'truce'. Israel has not responded to the attacks. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Foreign Minister Tzippi Livni decided to instruct the IDF not to take action to stop terrorists identified as about to launch rockets towards Israel or hit them immediately afterward either.

Islamic upsurgeance in Iraq, which is actively supported by Syria and Iran, has nothing to do with the Arab-Israel conflict! Why is the Israeli government silent and why does it not expose the international anti-Semitic fallacy and the US tendency to "Blame Jews and Israel for everything"?
When Government does not Act. A noted religious Zionist rabbi, Yisrael Rosenne, has advocated arming "ungoverned" civil defence groups in western Negev communities to fight back against Kassam rocket attacks from northern Gaza. The Yesha Rabbinical Council similarly advocated a return to the Jewish ethic of "rising to kill him who would kill you."
Gloating Enemies. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and PA Prime Minister Ismail Haniyah held talks in Doha , Qatar on Friday. "Today scores of Western politicians are in doubt as to the future of this illegitimate regime and its existence has come under question… There is no doubt the Palestinian nation and Muslims as a whole will emerge victorious," the president of Iranian told the PA prime minister. (After Israel, Europe and US!)
A Step in the Right Direction. The Orthodox Union adopted a resolution empowering its leadership to publicly oppose Israeli government policies. The resolution noted the continued launching of rockets from Gaza more than a year after Israel's withdrawal from the coastal strip and expressed scepticism about any policy that relinquishes territory… (Blind support of Israel 's self-obliterative policies by Jewish communities must be stopped!)
No Shortage of Funds. As Hamas wins a ceasefire from Prime Minister Ehud Olmert despite the group's continued firing of Kassam missiles, the Fatah group has announced it also has missiles, in Samaria. Fatah's Al-Aksa Brigade displayed the new missiles, which the group calls Jundalla (meaning Allah's soldiers). Rockets in Judea and Samaria would potentially put cities in the coastal plain, Israel 's International Airport , as well as Jerusalem, all within striking range. (According to UN "poor Palestinians" are starving, but they have money for rockets.)
U.N. Slams Israel-Gaza Border Restrictions. A United Nations report has condemned Israel's security restrictions at Gaza border crossings, claiming they constitute a violation of a 2005 U.S.-brokered agreement with the Palestinian Authority. (It seems, according to the UN, that Kassam rockets and Arab suicide bombers do not violate any international norms!)
Useless Nothing at Its Best. The new U.N. Human Rights Council held a third special session on Israel, focusing on alleged rights abuses in Gaza. (There is no special session on Human Rights abuse in any Muslim or Arab country. One would think that Christians, Buddhists and women enjoy complete equality over there. What a joke!)
Dead End Coalition. Mahmoud Abbas said his efforts to form a Palestinian Authority coalition government were at a "dead end." (It was a no-starter from the beginning, just pretence to please international opinion.)
Hamas Fires Mayor. Hamas government has dismissed the mayor of the Na'leen town, west of Ramallah city, for meeting with Israeli settlers without permission. (Why does Israel not do the same to her own traitors?)

"There is no question that if we were able to settle the Israeli-Palestinian issue it would help bring more peace to the Middle East," - US President Bush – I question this fake mantra. It is said to deflect attention from the US failed Middle East policy, due to lack of understanding and deliberate sabotage of "War Against Terror"!
More Terrorists for Gaza. Mahmoud Abbas has told Jordan that talks on a unity government with Hamas have hit a "dead end" and he will pursue other options. Israel has agreed in principle to the deployment of a 1,000-strong Jordan-based security force loyal to Abbas in Gaza . (The idea of the PA unity government is just a smoke screen to keep 'the game" alive. The behaviour of the Israeli government is criminal!)
No Proof of Life. The International Red Cross said Wednesday it has been unable to visit the three Israeli soldiers captured by militant Arab groups last summer. (It is a violation of International law! Even from Hollywood movies we know that nothing is given to kidnappers without "proof of life". But the stupidity of the Israeli government has no limit and no self-respect at all!)
Mufti of Jerusalem calls for Palestinian unity Against the Enemy. The Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine, Sheikh Muhammad Husain, called on Palestinian factions, in his Friday sermon at the Aqsa Mosque, to unite. He urged to "give precedence to the interests of the Palestinian people over the factional interests… Your unity will foil your enemy's schemes of eating up your land and your holy places." (This is not a call for peace; it is an incitement to destroy Israel!)
Discriminated in our own Country. Close to 200 Jewish protesters demanded the opening of the Tekoa-Jerusalem road connecting eastern Gush Etzion to the capital Friday. The road is complete, but closed to Jews.
The Same Bread of Mad Dogs. An Arab student calendar distributed at Haifa University marks the dates of major terrorist attacks, as well as significant dates in the lives of Arab terrorists such as Osama Bin-Laden.
Russia Supplying Iran with Advanced Defense System. Russia is providing Tehran with TOR-M1, a surface-to-air air defense system. Such a move is seen as preparing Iran for a strike by Israel or America against its nuclear program. (It is a good time for striking Iran now!)
Israel is Never Enough! Four Palestinian Authority terrorist groups, including that of PA President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah, called on Muslims worldwide to attack America "with no mercy." In the joint communiqué, the terrorists call on "all free people of the world and all the mujahadeen [jihadists] to hit the US with no mercy," noting that "Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan are all being destroyed by American weapons…" The statement more specifically called on the Arab states to support the terrorist groups financially and materially, to "enhance the resistance against the Israeli and American enemy." (Nothing is new! As usual, this statement will also be brushed off by the international anti-Semites who are blinded by hate toward Jews and ignore the danger from advancing Islam!)
Parting, Yes - Giving Up, No!
Lieberman, Israel's Minister for Strategic Affairs, made a statement that the best way to achieve peace in the Middle East would be for Jews and Arabs - including Israeli-Arabs - to live apart.
The remarks drew a storm of protest from the left-wing. O n the other hand, MK Uri Ariel (National Union) justified Lieberman's position: "His words about the threat presented by Israeli-Arabs to the physical existence of the State of Israel are correct. Now that he has entered the government, it remains only for us to see which of his plans he will actualize to deal with this threat."
"We established Israel as a Jewish country," Lieberman said. "I want to provide an Israel that is a Jewish, Zionist country. It's about what kind of country we want to see in the future..." At the same time Lieberman prepared to exchange of territories and populations. He suggested trading Israeli-Arab populated areas of Israel for Jewish-populated Jewish land in Judea and Samaria. (How would this trading of Jewish land for Jewish land benefit Israel ? It will not stop terror! The withdrawal from Gaza proves it. There is no logic in it. This idea will not bring peace, only more misery for the Jewish people!)

Contrary to the common belief of anti-Semites, that Jews are shrewd, we are quite trusting people and naive. For example, if today a Christian anti-Semite or an Arab terrorist, with years of Jew-bashing experience, would announce that they condemn their evil ways of the past and support Israel's right to exist, Jewish communities around the world would immediately start actively promoting them as saints. Quite often, the reason behind these kinds of transformation is sinister - It is the desire to get the free publicity for an upcoming book, movie or Jewish money for speaking engagements.
Occasionally, I send my articles and letters to Jewish papers. Most often, they are rejected or 'modified' without my consent. The politically motivated editors of the Jewish publications are unwilling and unable to allow the freedom of speech, when the right of Jews to their ancestral land and the future of Jewish people are concerned. At the same time, they are able to allocate almost unlimited space and give any inconceivable excuse to the enemies of the Jewish state. The voices of Jewish self-haters are quite dominant in many Jewish publications and Internet. The discreditation of Jewish patriots and the original ideas of Zionism became a norm and they are not given the opportunity to state their case to the public at all.
It seems that most of those publications are Jewish by the namesake only. They are not interested in providing the leadership for communities, they claim represent. From time to time they do raise controversial questions, like "Who is a Jew?" Most of the time, it is not done to resolve an issue, but for the sake of increasing the number of subscribers.
A while ago, September of 2006, I was surprised when a correspondent of the Australian Jewish News, which is notorious for its editors' leftist ideology, expressed his interest to interview me. He wanted to publish my personal profile and information about my Internet based editorial letter in the paper. We had a 45 minutes face-to-face interview, during which we covered the wide range of questions and he made four pages of tightly written notes. Two months later, when I received a draft of the interview, many important points were omitted or distorted. Two major questions which I strongly emphasized during interview, were not included in the draft at all:
Q1: Why did I start publishing your letters five years ago? – "Because for years I observed that Jewish leaders were apathetic and unwilling in promoting Jewish unity and original Zionist ideas."
Q2: What is the purpose of your letters? – "Disseminate the idea that Jewish people have the right to live in peace on all Jewish land - Eretz-Israel?"
Why is it so difficult for a Jewish newspaper to give a voice to true Zionist ideas? Why are they so considerate and sensitive to "the suffering of poor Palestinians", but ignore the sufferings of their own people inflicted by the "poor Palestinians"? Why do they support almost any national independence movement, but actively deny the rights of Jewish people and ignore Zionism - the Jewish National Independence Movement?
It is time to realize that most of the so-called Jewish publications, may be run by Jews, but are just commercial enterprises targeting Jews for advertising dollars and subscriptions. It is futile to write letters to them. The only language any media organization can understand is the language of "the Bottom Line".
We must stop our subscription to all anti-Jewish publications! We must switch off all anti-Israel biased radio stations or TV channels! And, we have to let them and their advertisers know that we have done so and why. Only this way they will be able to understand that the hideous status quo will not be tolerated any more and we are serious about it! They will not change their revolting attitude, but they will be forced to change their business practice, because they do love Jewish money!

It is said, that solution to any problem can be easily found by asking the right question. There are many Think Tanks around the world, looking for answer to: "How to bring peace to the Middle East, by resolving Arab-Israel conflict?" What they must ask: "How to help Israel to re-unite Jewish land, in order to send clear message to Muslim world, that Islamic expansionism will not be tolerated any more?"
What Cease-fire? Mahmoud Abbas has told an Arab audience that he will not settle for a new Arab state comprising Judea , Samaria and Gaza and that the issue of allowing millions of Arabs to enter Israel is the key to solving the Arab-Israeli conflict. (It is all or nothing! It is time for Jews to realize it and take all Jewish land back!)
Ceasefire Lasted 75 Minutes. A Kassam rocket landed in the western Negev, some 75 minutes after the PA (Palestinian Authority) declared a ceasefire at 6:00am Sunday morning. (For how long can Jewish people continue to endure stupidity of the gutless, apathetic and corrupt leadership? We need leaders with strong conviction and absolutely believe in original ideas of Zionism!)

Israel Offers Another Capitulation, Terrorists Offered Death. In a major policy speech, Olmert said he was reaching out to the Arab Palestinians for peace - offering a series of humanitarian and economic incentives if violence against Israel ceased. The answer was prompt, rockets were fired into the Israeli Sderot, despite a ceasefire declared. Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, part of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah faction, claimed responsibility for the attack. (The weed must be completely removed, in order to keep the garden clean. There is not difference between Hamas or Fatah! They are just different variety of the same weed.)
UN: More Resolutions Against Israel. The U.N. Human Rights Council passed two more resolutions against Israel: Declare Israel's presence in the Golan Heights illegal and condemned Israel's settlement construction. The 47-member council has singled out no other country but Israel for human rights abuses since the council was established six months ago. (While International anti-Semitic bustards are in power, Islamic terror will thrive!)

There can be no absolute freedom of any kind even in a democracy. Absolute freedom is anarchy and that is hardly consonant with democracy. And now I am about to preach hatred. But I will not lie.
Islam is not a race. It is a death cult. It strives for death for all who are non-Muslim and it strives for the death of Muslims themselves if they wish to achieve the highest rewards, the promise of sexual orgies and gluttonous feasts, in their afterlives. Muhammad was a deceitful, bloodthirsty, rapacious, sadistic, immoral warmonger.
Despite the numerous pronouncements of George W. Bush and Tony Blair and of countless Imams and murderous Islamic dictators and a few self hating Jews and uncountable anti Semites and far, far too many others, Islam is NOT "A religion of peace". Of the approximately 125 armed conflicts and massacres being conducted in the world at present, almost all of them are involve Muslims as the perpetrators and very often as the victims of their fellow Muslims.
But of all the horrible diseases that plague our world the most virulent, most devastating plague of all is Islam. As with any plague, one must either let it run its course and hope to survive its devastation or take all necessary measures to eradicate it.
